The best thing is, no matter what kind of booze you got in your quarantine shelf atm, it will work just fine. We used Dark Rum, but the original version using Vodka obviously great as well. It's not called "Russian" for nothing. Now, please jump into your best sweatpants and find yourself the comfiest seat in the house to enjoy this easily made yet rich and creamy drink. Thank us later!

  • 2 oz -  Dark Rum (Vodka, Gin or Bourbon will work perfectly too )
  • 1 oz  - Coffee liqueur (we used Kahlúa)
  • 1/4 oz - simple syrup
  • 1-2 oz - Coconut cream

How to:

  1. Add the Dark Rum and Kahlúa to an Old Fashioned glass with ice.
  2. Top with the Coconut cream and stir.
  3. Sprinkle some chocolate on top, if you're feeling fancy
  4. Enjoy! Be warned, though: You might acquire a little milk beard.

Recipe for the simple syrup:

  1. 1 cup: granulated sugar
  2. 1 cup water
  3. Stir together sugar and water in a small saucepan.
  4. Bring to a boil over medium-high; cook 1 minute.
  5. Remove from heat; let stand 20 minutes.
  6. Pour mixture through a wire-mesh strainer into a bowl.
  7. Chill syrup until ready to use.
