In light of this month’s Editor’s Pick, we want to introduce Maqu - a young label from Berlin, turning heads through high quality garments, sustainably manufactured and using innovative fabrics.

Vegan Good Life Fashion Editor Aglaja has been a supporter of their work for quite some time now, so it only seems logical to make them our newest 'staff pick'. We love finding new and exciting brands with a similar approach towards ethical fashion and the fact that Maqu garments are partly handmade in their own studio in Berlin Friedrichshain is a big plus in our books. We’re not into their occasional use of alpaca wool too much, however we do love their other great organic options fabric wise including GOTS certified cotton, tencel, mixed jersey and a good selection of other recycled materials.
"Premium garments, sustainably manufactured."
Their style can be described as 'premium' and 'clean' while showcasing unique details, giving their garments that little extra touch, including detachable sections, beautiful lacing and see-through components. We love.
