Vegan Good Life Fashion Editor Aglaja has been a supporter of their work for quite some time now, so it only seems logical to make them our newest 'staff pick'. We love finding new and exciting brands with a similar approach towards ethical fashion and the fact that Maqu garments are partly handmade in their own studio in Berlin Friedrichshain is a big plus in our books. We’re not into their occasional use of alpaca wool too much, however we do love their other great organic options fabric wise including GOTS certified cotton, tencel, mixed jersey and a good selection of other recycled materials.

"Premium garments, sustainably manufactured."

Another fact we really like about Maqu’s ethos is that they work hard to not waste material if at all possible. Them using leftovers from other garments leads to the creation of one-of-a-kind pieces you will definitely not see on anyone else and which concurrently result in a reduction of waste in general.

Their style can be described as 'premium' and 'clean' while showcasing unique details, giving their garments that little extra touch, including detachable sections, beautiful lacing and see-through components. We love.
