From burgers and a fine sandwich selection to homemade gnocchi, zucchini sweet potato pasta, and raw food offerings: Friedrichshain’s “Lück’s” is hands down one of our favorite slow food jams in the German capital.
The food here is “anti-fast food” with a diverse palette of flavors. Now don’t get us wrong, we too love us some solidly nasty fast food from time to time, but this place offers dishes that are hard to come by even in Berlin, called by many the world’s vegan capital.
Served in a cozy atmosphere with a charming interior, the food is creative, healthy, and beautifully presented. Everything is made in house, is mostly organic, and is as seasonal as possible. Even filtered and vitalised water for your purest state of being.
as seasonal as possible”
On top of that, the family-owned and operated restaurant has that certain familiar feel that only places run by a small and lovely team like the one at “Lück’s” can offer. And absolutely everything on the menu is vegan, btw.
The Friedrichshain-based people on staff of this very magazine is among the regulars and we’re bringing all our friends. Do with that information what you wish!
Oh, before we forget: Lück’s offers brunch every 2nd and 4th weekend of the month. We haven’t been yet, but it’s definitely on our list. Don’t forget your rezzies!
